Template Creator Documentation

Template Creator is an optional tool that allows you to create your own bundle page template from scratch. Should you want to completely replace Kitenzo's standard, default template, then Template Creator makes it possible for you to design and create your own.

Getting started

You can find the Template Creator in the Kitenzo app by heading to Settings → Template Creator. When this setting is activated, your custom template will override the existing bundle page template. However, there's also an option to revert to the default template at any time.

The Right Tool?

• You need to have a strong understanding of Liquid to create and implement your own bundle template. We recommend only using Template Creator if you have experience in web development.

• The Kitenzo support team is unable to help you create a custom template and does not offer support for custom templates.

• Most design settings found within Kitenzo will not apply to a customized Template Creator template. This means any functionality you require from additional settings will need to be coded into the template.

I've had a custom template built, but I'm having a problem with it - can you help?

Because of the highly personalized, customizable nature of Template Creator, we're not able to offer support for these here at Kitenzo. If you're having issues with a custom-built template, we'd recommend reaching out to the development team you worked with for further assistance.

Can you provide me with a copy of the default template code as a guide?

We're not currently able to provide replicas of the default template due to the number of theme settings-specific information and the high number of conditionals we have based on the default bundle settings. The code specifically is not the limitation, but more so the settings (and the amount that would need to be transferred).

Can I hire you to create a custom template for me?

At the moment, we don't offer a custom template building service. If you need any assistance with adding custom fonts, then we suggest reaching out to a Shopify Expert to help you with the task.
